Keeton Peery was named the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach on July 21, 2023. He comes to the Rangers after five seasons of serving as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Oklahoma Christian University, and the 2022-23 season as the Head Coach of the Oklahoma Christian Academy girls' basketball team.
A native of Lindsay, Okla., Peery is a two-time graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma, earning his bachelor's degree in Public Relations-Advertising and a master's degree in Exercise Science.
In addition to his recruiting and game planning skillset, Peery is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He served as a strength and conditioning coach with Performance Course, overseeing programs at Oklahoma Baptist University and Washington High School in Washington, Okla. from 2018-2020.
Peery's work outside the collegiate ranks also included three seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder, serving as the NBA franchise's youth basketball coordinator.
In 2020, Peery was named to the prestigious NextGen Under 30 honor list -- which recognizes the next generation of Oklahoma's innovative, creative and inspiring individuals who push the boundaries in 15 categories of human endeavor -- in the "Sports and Outdoors" category.
