Competed in six races as a true freshman … finished in 54th, second best on the team, at the RMAC Championships with a time of 25:09.7 … her finish at the RMAC Championships was also a season best six kilometer time.

A 2014 graduate of Summit High School in Frisco, Colo. … qualified for state all four years of high school, two individually and two with the team … finished 66th out of 183 at the 2013 Colorado State Class 4A Cross Country Championship … finished 49th out of 221 runners as a junior at the state meet … had a 54th place finish in 2011 … ran a personal best of 19:29 at the regionals during her senior season … team captain her senior year … also competed in track and field and nordic skiing … helped lead team to nordic skiing state championship … earned the Grant H. Martin Outstanding Runner award her senior year … an Academic First Team All-State selection her final two years ... ranked 7-out-of-167 in her graduating class.

Daughter of Chris and Mary Pappas … has two siblings, Emily and Alexander … both parents ran cross country at Mississippi State … majoring in biochemistry.
