Ashley Morris enters her second year as a graduate assistant for the Regis University softball program. Prior to Regis, she was a two-year starter at third base at Saint Leo University in Tampa, Florida. She finished with a .344 batting average with 55 hits and 30 runs scored. As a junior she helped the team advance to the NCAA DII Softball Championships for the first time in school history.
She was named to the DII Softball Championships All-Tournament Team, Second-Team All-SSC, and the SCC Commissioner’s Honor Roll. Prior to Saint Leo, she competed at Chipola College in Marianna, Florida winning the FCSAA State Championship and finishing as runner up in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament. She was named to the Panhandle All-Conference Team and the FCSAA State Championship All-Conference Team. Ashley was selected to the NJCAA USA National Team and competed in the Canada Cup.Â
Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree in Sport Business at Saint Leo University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership. Ashley is originally from Leesburg, Georgia.Â
