Brett O'Connor

    Goalkeeper Coach
Brett O'Connor primarily trains the goalkeepers on the Regis University women's soccer team. He is a director of coaching for the U13 and U14 Boys and Girls and the director of coaching for U11-U18 Boys at Colorado Storm.

He is also a goalkeeping coach for the U.S. Soccer Training Centers in Colorado. 

Originally from Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., O’Connor graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, Idaho, with a bachelor's degree in mass communications in 2003. He still holds the record for most saves in a game and most saves in a season in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

In 2008, Brett returned to NNU as an assistant coach for the men's program. In his first year, the program was regionally ranked for three consecutive weeks. In 2011, O’Connor moved to Colorado and assisted with both the men’s and women's programs at Colorado Christian University and served as their goalkeeping coach.

In addition, he trained and evaluated goalkeepers for Colorado ODP.  

O’Connor has his USSF “B” License, NSCAA Premier Diploma and NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.  

He and his wife, Julie, and their kids, Kate and Jovie, live in Parker.
