Jay Hamilton is in his seventh season with the Rangers in 2017. Hamilton brings a wealth of experience not only coaching soccer but as a successful player.
Hamilton had a very successful career as head varsity boys coach at Wheat Ridge High School, a position he had held since 2005. In 2006, 2008 and 2009, Hamilton was named the Jeffco Coach of the Year. Since 2007, he has been involved with different teams within the Colorado Edge Soccer Club.
Hamilton, who first attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, finished out his college days at Metro State in 2001. Hamilton played on a number of teams in different professional indoor soccer leagues. He was a member of the Denver Dynamite team from 2008-10 of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL-Pro).
