Munoz has been a coach in the club scene around the state of Colorado for the last three years, both as a head coach and an assistant coach. His teams have seen success on the state level as well.
As a player, Munoz has been training and competing in the Volleyball League of America (VLA) Colorado Kingsmen as a libero/setter since 2023. He also competes in local grass and sand tournaments hosted by Volleyball of the Rockies and the AVP.
A Wyoming native, Munoz was initially exposed to volleyball while attending the University of Wyoming where he earned a BA in English with minors in professional writing and psychology. Munoz started with pick-up volleyball, then found his way into the women’s club team, and in his senior year he became a practice player for the Wyoming Cowgirls volleyball program.
Outside of volleyball, Munoz enjoys attending live music, writing, and trying out new recipes
