• A 2011 graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, Ill.
• Played for the Blue Demons in 2007, 2008 and 2010
• Last season she averaged 1.74 kills per set
• Also a good defender averaging 2.12 digs per set
• In 2010, she had three double-doubles and had 17 digs against IUPUI
• In 2008, she averaged 1.54 kills per set and 2.05 dps
• As a freshman put down 2.10 kills per set
• Big East All-Academic team

University High School:

• A 2007 graduate of University High School in Normal, Ill.
• Led the team in kills twice and digs one season
• Was team MVP during her senior season
• Earned three letters in volleyball and two in track
• Helped UHS to back-to-back Regional Championships in 2005 and 2006
• A member of the Illini Elite Volleyball Club

• Daughter of Karen and Tim Highland
• Has one older brother, Travis
• Mother Karen swam intercollegiately at South Illinois
• Career ambition is to be a forensic accountant at Deloitte
