• A First Team All-RMAC and All-Academic selection
• Named RMAC East Divsion Player of the Week (November 5th)
• Ranked sixth in the RMAC in hitting percentage (.311)
• Ranked seventh in points (404.5)
• Recorded 330 kills in 707 attempts
• Had 27 service aces
• Finished the season with 82 blocks
• Recorded 20-plus kills in two matches
• In a match against CSU-Domiguez Hills posted a season-high hitting percentage of .611 (12-1-18)
• Had 20 kills and just one attack error in 33 attempts against Lockhaven on September 1st
• Posted a career-high 26 kills with a .568 hitting percentage on October 30th against UC-Colorado Springs

2006:

• Recorded 333 kills in 787 total attacks
• Led the team with 3.06 kills per game
• Had 77 digs and 75 blocks
• Led the team in hitting percentage (.230)
• Finished with 48 assists and 19 service aces
• Recorded a season-high hitting percentage of .789 (15-0-9) on October 21st against Chadron State
• Finished with 20 kills against Mesa State on November 2nd
• A 2006 All-RMAC Honorable Mention selection

Northern Colorado University:

• Played one season (2005) at Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo.
• Played in 17 matches and 38 games as a freshman
• was named the Division I Independent Newcomer of the Week on Sept. 7 after averaging 1.33 kills, 1.33 blocks and 0.56 digs/game in a pair of games
• Averaged 1.71 kills per game to rank sixth for the Bears

Heritage High School:

• A 2005 graduate of Heritage High School in Littleton, Colo.
• Franz played volleyball all four years of high school
• She also ran track for two years and participated in the high jump
• A two-time letter winner in track
• Earned three letters in volleyball
• She helped guide Heritage HS to the state volleyball tournament three years
• Achieved All State, Heritage High School Distinguished Athlete Award
• Was named to the Heritage high school Hall of Fame
• Was an All-Conference selection
