Anthony Presnell is in his fifth season with the Rangers in 2017 and helped the Rangers to the NCAA Elite 8 in 2013.
Originally from Cortez, Colo., Presnell graduated from Northern Arizona University with his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Marketing in 2010. While at NAU, he founded the NAU Mens’ Club Soccer Program and remained President throughout his time at the school. The program is now a self-sustaining non-profit club sports organization with over 40 current members and 100 alumni.
During his time in Arizona, Presnell worked with the Flagstaff, Gilbert and Mesa communities to promote soccer for ages three to 18 through summer camps, youth programs and more.
He also worked as the head soccer coach for the Gilbert Soccer Club and Red Mountain High School, as well as the assistant coach of Mesa Community College since 2010. At the same time, Presnell was the Assistant Director and Curriculum Developer for Arsenal Academy; and since 2012 he was the head coach for ’98 Girls Soccer in the Olympic Development Program.
While coaching in Arizona, he was named Mesa All-City High School Boys Soccer Coach of the Year in back-to-back seasons.
Anthony has also worked as a head coach for the Flagstaff Soccer Club, Director of Operations for NAU men’s soccer and a camp coach for various schools and locations since the beginning of 2006.
He is a currently member of the United States Soccer Federation with a National “B” License and the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), as well as an NAU Golden Axe Member.
