Eric Daniels enters his fifth season as assistant men'sbasketball coach at Regis in 2013-14. Daniels came to Regisafter one season as assistant coach at Southern Utah in Cedar City,Utah.
Daniels is the Rangers recruiting coordinator and is involvedwith the individual player development.
Daniels had a stellar basketball career at Johnson & WalesUniversity in Denver. He scored 1,191 points at the NAIADivision II school while also leading the Wildcats to the 2005 NAIANational Tournament in Branson, Mo.
Following his senior season he was named honorable mentionAll-NAIA after averaging 15.8 poings per game and 3.0 steals pergame. During his junior season, Daniels averaged 4.6 stealsper game which led all collegiate men's basketball players in boththe NAIA and the NCAA. He also led the NAIA in steals duringhis sophomore season averaging 3.8 per game. Daniels recorded306 steals including 110 as a junior. For his career heaveraged 11.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.5 asissts, and 3.0 steals pergame.
Daniels graduated from Johnson & Wales University in 2008with a degree in marketing. Daniels is the son of currentGonzaga men's basketball assistant coach Donny Daniels wherepreviously he was an assistant coach at UCLA and head coach atCalifornia State-Fullerton. He graduated from Highland HighSchool in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Daniels currently makes his home in Arvada.
