Regis University Athletics welcomed Erin Taverna as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Equipment in September 2025.
A native of Danbury, Connecticut, and graduated from Sacred Heart University in 2022 with a degree in Sport Management. While at Sacred Heart, she was a member of the Division I women's rugby program.
Following her undergraduate career, Taverna built a strong foundation in facilities and operations management as the manager of an ice rink in Connecticut for three years. In that role, she oversaw scheduling, registrations, sponsorships, website administration, and maintenance. She also served as head of the maintenance department, where she was responsible for Zamboni operations, balancing both administrative and facility needs.
Currently, Taverna is pursuing her master's at the University of Denver in environmental policy and management with a focus on environmental health and safety.
