Kayla Hooker enters into her first year in 2019-20 as Regis University’s assistant strength and conditioning coach. Kayla primarily works with Baseball and Women’s Lacrosse. 

Hooker graduated from Regis University in 2019 with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a Minor in Health and Exercise Science. During her senior year, Hooker completed a strength and conditioning internship with Regis Athletics and Head Coach Erin Choice. Hooker then completed an internship with Landow Performance during summer 2019. Landow Performance is located in Centennial, CO and is one of the most reputable strength and conditioning facilities in the Denver Metro area. While there, Hooker was able to work with athletes of all ages, sports and ability levels, ranging from youth hockey to high school football to professional UFC fighters. 

Hooker has experience with research within the field of exercise science, specifically biomechanics. She has assisted with projects investigating the Effects of Varying Alignment on Joint Loading During Yoga.
