Makayla Salter joined the Regis University Athletic Department in July 2024 as a Graduate Assistant for Marketing & Events. In this role, she assists in coordinating the marketing and promotional efforts for all 13 of Regis's sports. Additionally, Salter assists in planning and executing major events, such as the Father Shelton Annual Golf Tournament, Pep Rally, group outings, and the End of the Year Banquet.
Prior to joining Regis, Salter served as a Marketing and Fan Engagement Student Assistant at the University of Kansas from August 2023 to May 2024. In this role, she assisted with gameday promotions, engagement and marketing, while also contributing to multiple national live productions, including Late Night in the Phog, Big Noon Kickoff, and College Gameday.
Salter graduated from the University of Kansas in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, a Minor in Marketing, and a Certificate in Professional Selling. While at Regis, she is pursuing her MBA.
A native of Colorado, Salter graduated from Holy Family High School where she competed in basketball, soccer, and cross country. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing, hiking, playing basketball and traveling.
