Steve Trittschuh

Steve Trittschuh comes to RegisUniversity with over 14 years of playing experience atthe professional level.Steve played for the United States at the1988 Olympics and 1990 World Cup and in his international careerwith the United States Steve earned 38 CAPS.He had stints withSparta Prague of the Czech 1st Division, SVV Dordrecht of the Dutch1st Division, and Colorado Rapids and Tampa Bay Mutiny of the MLSduring that time. During his time with Sparta Prague he was thefirst American to play in the European Cup.He was honored as beingone of the Colorado Rapids Team of the Decade Member(1996-2005).

Steve currently holds his USSF A License anda Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education fromMadison University.Steve has been a director of coaching forBlackwatch Soccer Club in Tampa Florida.He spent 4 years as anassistant coach for the Colorado Rapids from 2003 to 2006.Duringhis time with the Rapids he was put in charge of the Reserve Teamand led the team to be the Reserve League Champions in 2006.He wasalso an assistant coach for Southern Illinois University in 1989and Colorado School of Mines in 2007.

He was the head coach for the U18 Boys RushUS Developmental Academy who won the Western Division Championshipand placed 4th Nationally in the Academy during the 2007-2008season.

He was elected into theColorado Youth Soccer Hall of Fame in 2013 and is currently theAssistant Director of Coach fo Colorado Storm Soccer Club.
