DENVER, Colo. – In the MSU Denver Invitational Saturday morning, Regis cross country took home a seventh and eighth place finish.
The women earned seventh place as a team.
Emily Perez was the top finisher for the Rangers recording a time of 25:44 and 55th overall.
Amanda Martinez was next at 25:52.
Katherine Pappas was just six seconds behind finishing in 58th.
Christina Kennedy followed at a time of 26:27.
Haley Rach added a time of 26:41 with
Paloma Farkas just behind at 26:53. Jennifer Vanetten followed Farkas recording a 27:03.
Elizabeth Kelly recorded a 27:22 and Samantha Holland a 28:04.
To finish it out for Regis,
Audrey Jawor crossed in a time of 28:39 and
Theodora Zastrocky at 31:13.
On the men's side the team placed in eighth.
First to cross the line was
Kian Hartley at 28:11 and 36th place.
Carl Nelson was next in at 54th place and 28:46.
To follow Nelson,
John Malone finished in 29:11.
Sean Ankarlo was just behind at 29:16 and Evin Sanchez in 29:25.
Emilio Tovilla and
Paul Armstrong finished back to back in 29:57 and 30:01.
Scott Kordziel recorded a 31:15 and
Vincent Frazier a 31:38.
Cross country travels to Orlando, Fla. to compete in the Disney Cross Country Classic. Race time is 8 a.m. October 8.
