The second set featured more team offense from the Rangers with junior
Izzy Gosar leading the way with four second-set kills as well as three huge blocks at the net. Green added three kills in the 25-12 second-set win. Five players for RU recorded at least one block assist in the second frame as the Regis defense came alive.
In search of yet another conference sweep, the Rangers put together another solid performance in set three, despite hitting a match-low .286 as a team. Senior
Kristina Schell continued to show her brilliance defensively as she posted six digs in the final set. Green slammed down five kills and junior
Nikki Kennedy followed with four of her own as RU put the match away with a 25-13 win in set three.
Game Notes: Overall, Regis had a very successful night offensively and defensively. Burroway posted a match-high 12 kills while Green added 10.
