LAKEWOOD, Colo. – The Regis University women's soccer team (7-4-3, 6-3-1 RMAC) played to a 0-0 draw against Colorado Christian University (5-7-3, 4-6-1 RMAC) on Friday afternoon.
How It Happened: Regis placed two-of-five first half shots on target. Senior
Cat Devitt subbed into the game in the 20
thminute and immediately made an impact, getting off two shots in less than one minute.
The Rangers allowed CCU three shots in the first half and just one on target. RU held the Cougars without a shot for the remainder of the game besides one shot in the second overtime period. Regis garnered four shots in the second half and two in overtime.
Neither team was able to find the back of the net as the game came to an end after 120 minutes of play.
Game Notes: The Rangers managed to put five shots on target compared to the Cougars one that sophomore
Julia Coombs saved.
CCU was called for 24 fouls as RU was called for 14. Regis held the corner-kick advantage 6-4.
