Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Rangers fall to Fort Lewis College in extra time

DURANGO, Colo. – The Regis University women's soccer team (2-2-2, 1-1 RMAC) was downed 1-0, conceding a goal in extra time to Fort Lewis College (3-2-1, 2-0 RMAC) in Durango, Colorado on Sunday afternoon.
 
How it Happened: Senior Cat Devitt recorded the first shot of the game in the first minute of play, but her attempt went just wide. The Rangers struggled to place a shot on target with just one of their 11 total shot attempts on frame. 
 
The score was knotted at 0-0 until Fort Lewis College found the back of the net in 100thminute. 
 
Game Notes: Sophomore Julia Coombs faced six shots and saved three. Devitt tallied four shots while senior Annika Hills and freshman Gia Lemley added two each. Sophomore Keegan Storlie claimed the only shot-on-goal for RU. 
 
Regis held an 8-4 corner kick advantage.
 
Up next for the Rangers: The women's soccer team will return home to take on Dixie State University on Friday, September 21 at 4 p.m.
