GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – The Regis University men's and women's cross country teams concluded their seasons at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Championships with both finishing 16th at the meet, hosted at Tiara Rado Golf Course, on Saturday.

Junior
Sarah Smagacz paced the Rangers on the women's side, who had a team score of 432 points, with her 79th-place time of 24 minutes, 1.4 seconds in the women's 6-kilometer race.

Smagacz was followed by freshman
Annika Zenk in 87th with a time of 24:16.3.

In her final race with Regis, senior
Theodora Zastrocky claimed a time of 24:46.3 to take 99th.

Freshman
Lily Saddoris (25:21.0) and senior
Samantha Holland (25:29.2) finished back-to-back in 106th and 107th, respectively, to round out the scorecard.

Freshman McKenna Uhing also competed for RU, crossing the finish line in 119th at the 29:22.5 mark.

Sophomore
Bryan Martinez on the men's side led the Rangers (484) in their 8k competition. Martinez nabbed a 90th-place finish with the clock reading 26:39.2.

Freshman
George Kaftan was second among the Regis men, contributing a 27:41.0 while taking 106th overall.

Senior
Emilio Tovilla crossed the finish line next in 118th with his 28:40.7 time.

Junior
Vincent Frazier (28:42.0) followed Tovilla in 120th, while junior
Scott Kordziel (33:37.4) capped off RU's scoring with his 128th-place finish.

Right behind Kordziel in 129th was sophomore
Roger Castillo (38:47.9).

Sophomore Stephanie Cotter of Adams State won the women's race, leading her first-place team with a time of 19:40.3. ASU had a team score of 21 points.

Sophomore Dylan Ko of Colorado School of Mines broke the tape in the men's event, pacing the winning Orediggers (28) with his time of 23:20.9.
