PORTLAND, Ore. – After a week off from competition, the Regis University men's basketball team (3-0) was back in action on Friday evening as they blew past the Concordia University (ORE.) Cavaliers (0-5) by 32 points to claim an 81-49 win.
How It Happened: Efficiency. Offensively and defensively, Regis embodied the definition of efficiency this evening as they throttled a Cavaliers team that has faced a share of struggles during an 0-5 start to their 2019 -20 season.
The Rangers took eight less shots than the home side, outscoring them by 31 points in total. After they took a 4-2 lead, RU never lost their lead and outplayed the home side takin their first double-digit lead 22-10 midway through the first half.

Will Cranston-Lown knocked down a three-point jumper to put Regis ahead by 20, 50-30, in the second half. The lead ballooned to over 30 when redshirt-senior
Taffy Tela splashed home a three of his own late in the second half. At the end of the second half, the Rangers claimed their third-straight win to start the season with an 81-49 margin of victory.

Toni Rocak had a team-high 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting. Senior
Christian Little added 14 points in only 17 minutes on the court, converting on 8-of-10 shots from the charity stripe. Three RU players had 5+ rebounds including Little (6), senior
Roberto Vercellino (6), Rocak (5) and redshirt-freshman
Kevin Ebiriekwe (6). Regis finished the night shooting 50 percent from the field, (24-48) 33.3 percent from beyond the arc (7-21) and 25-of-31 from the free throw line (80.6 percent).
