COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the RMAC All-Academic Teams on Thursday afternoon. Two members from both the Regis University Cross Country teams were selected.
 
My Yen Nguyen and Annika Zenk along with Bryan Martinez and Andrew McNamee were all named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll.
 
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must hold at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters.
 
Nguyen (Lakewood, Colo.) posts a 3.452 grade point average (GPA) as a Health and Exercise Science major. Nguyen is a one-year letter winner after taking a redshirt season as a sophomore. As a freshman in 2018, she posted her best 6K time (26:13.3) at the RMAC Championships.
 
In her first year eligible for the award, Zenk (Kersey, Colo.) makes her debut on the honor roll boasting a 3.933 GPA as an Elementary Education major. During her six-event freshman season, she led the Rangers in five races capturing her best 6K time (23:45.3) at the Capital Cross Challenge.
 
As the top runner for the Rangers, Martinez (Albuquerque, N.M.) led the team in the last four events of the 2019 season. He earned a personal best time (26:39.2) in the RMAC 8K Championships and clocked an additional personal best time (29:23.6) at the 4.97-mile Joe I. Vigil Open XC race. As a Biochemistry & Linguistics major, he collected a 3.805 GPA. 
 
A two-year letter winner, McNamee (Evergreen, Colo.) maintains a 3.412 GPA as a Business Administration major. During the 2019 season, he competed in four races, logging a season best 8K time (29:55.2) at the Roadrunner Invite.
