COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) All-Academic Teams and Awards have been announced for the 2021 Volleyball season and junior
Mara LeGrand has earned her debut appearance on the RMAC All-Academic First Team.
LeGrand (Papillion, Neb.) makes her first appearance on the All-Academic First Team after earning RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll last season in her first year of eligibility. The junior setter sports a 3.75 grade point average (GPA) as a Business Administration major. The success that LeGrand demonstrates in the classroom transfers over delightfully to her performance on the court. She has earned RMAC Setter of the Week honors four times this season, more than any other setter in the RMAC. She currently ranks third in the conference with a 10.49 assists per set average and is second in the conference with 871 total assists. In total, LeGrand has 66 kills, 20 service aces, 246 digs (2.96 per set), and has added 30 blocks at the net.
