Dixon and Smith Earn All-RMAC Honorable Mention Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has announced its 2025 Volleyball All-Conference teams, and Seniors Isabella Smith and Braiziah Dixon have been honored for their athletic achievements. 

Braiziah Dixon, MB, Sr.- Dixon secured her second All-RMAC honor of her career, earning Honorable Mention in 2025 after a First Team selection in 2024. The senior from St. Paul, Minnesota, anchored the Rangers' front-line defense, leading RU with 82 total blocks. She also delivered offensively, recording 154 kills while hitting an efficient .248 on the season. Dixon was a consistent presence for the Rangers, starting all 26 matches and proving to be a reliable force at the net. 

Isabella Smith, OH, Sr.- Smith, a senior from Littleton, Colorado, earned the first All-RMAC Honorable Mention honor of her career this season. A true all-around contributor for the Rangers, Smith emerged as the team's go-to player, finishing the year with 239 kills and adding 190 digs. Her versatility and consistency made her one of RU's most dependable performers throughout the season. 

CSU–Pueblo senior outside hitter Caelyn Gunn was named RMAC Volleyball Player of the Year, while MSU Denver's Alyssa Boyte earned Defensive Player of the Year honors. CSU–Pueblo's Elena Stankovic was selected Setter of the Year, and MSU Denver's Karyna Werley was recognized as Freshman of the Year. UCCS head coach Tara Little rounded out the major awards, earning her first Coach of the Year accolade.
