WICHITA FALLS, Texas - The Regis University women's soccer team (2-2) wrapped up their Texas trip with a visit to Wichita Falls to take on the Midwestern State University Mustangs (2-2), Sunday afternoon. Coming off a tough defeat to Texas Woman's University just two days prior, Regis fell again, 1-3.
How it Happened: Junior
Audrey Teague got things going for Regis when she scored in the 36th minute of play, giving the Rangers a 1-0 lead. However, Midwestern State responded right away with a goal of their own just a minute later. RU had multiple attempts on-target before the half ended, but none found the back of the net.
In the final 45 minutes, the Mustangs wasted no time and scored just five minutes after kickoff, giving them a 2-1 advantage. Later in the 67th minute, Midwestern State would find the goal again, lifting them out of reach of the Rangers.Â

When time expired, Regis lost, 1-3.
Game Notes: MSU out-shot RU, 15 (7) - 13 (6). They also had more corners, the Mustangs had 10 while Regis had three. Teague, in addition to her goal, led the team in shots with three. Notably, she only played 29 minutes. Junior
