Robert Senna, a 6-year-old from Berthoud, signs his Team Impact NLI with Regis men's soccer.
DENVER, Colo. — The Regis University men's soccer team is excited to announce the addition of Robert Senna to the squad. Through Team Impact, the Rangers welcomed Senna to their program on Monday, making him an official non-playing member of the team.

Team Impact is an organization that helps children with serious and chronic illnesses battle emotional trauma and social isolation by matching kids with collegiate athletic teams throughout the country.

With the announcement of Senna's signing on Monday, he is now set to spend the next two years as a valuable member of the Rangers men's soccer program, which includes attending practices, games, special team functions and more.

"We're excited to welcome Team Impact to campus today for Robert's official signing day. As a coach, in making additions to our program here, we're looking for quality players but more importantly quality people. Robert certainly fits that category," said Regis head men's soccer coach, Taylor Diem. "We've gotten the pleasure to get to know him over the last 5-6 months and he's been absolutely incredible. He's great energy for the boys and brings a spark to the roster."

Robert is a 6-year-old native of Berthoud, Colorado and an avid Regis men's soccer fan. Robert is also a young man of many talents, capable of taking the pitch at forward, in the midfield, across the back line or even at the goalkeeper position so long as he is helping his favorite team.

By signing his "Commitment to Participate" Robert agrees to:

1) Adhere to all Regis University rules and regulations that pertain to students
2) Attend as many practices, competitive events and training sessions during the season and off-season as able
3) Sit on the stands or on the sideline with the team during any home event
4) Cheer on his teammates on the field
5) Participates in organized campus and community service under the guidance of appropriate University agencies; this may include other sporting events at Regis University, ice cream parties, rough housing and general play time
6) Continue to be a positive influence in the lives of your new teammates
7) Maintain quality school work
