Kristian Hooker earns fourth-straight All-Academic placement, total of 11 Rangers earn RMAC honors

| By:

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced their All-Academic team on Monday, with graduate student Kristian Hooker being selected for the fourth straight season.

To be eligible for First Team consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. First Team All-Academic members were voted on by the conference's sports information directors for meeting those criteria as well as demonstrating outstanding performance on the field. Student-athletes not voted to the First Team, and who carry a 3.30 cumulative GPA or higher, automatically qualify for Honor Roll.

Hooker, a forward from Monument, Colo., has posted a perfect 4.0 GPA while majoring in Biochemistry. As an attacker, he finished second on the team in goals scored with six while also posting three assists.

His selection to the All-Academic team adds to an extensive list of accomplishments for the Colorado native. Hooker was named to the RMAC All-Conference Second Team alongside two other Rangers earlier this week. He has also been named a CoSIDA All-American in 2020 and 2021 and is a two-time RMAC Summit Award recipient during his career at Regis.

In addition to Hooker earning First Team All-Academic, Regis placed ten players on the RMAC Honor Roll.
