Case earns third-straight RMAC First Team All-Academic, total of 13 Rangers named to Honor Roll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the 2023 Softball All-Academic team on Thursday, with Regis University graduate student Jessi Case being selected for the third year in a row.

To be eligible for First Team consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. First Team All-Academic members were voted on by the conference's sports information directors for meeting those criteria, as well as demonstrating outstanding performance on the field. Student-athletes not voted to the First Team, and who carry a 3.30 cumulative GPA or higher, automatically qualify for Honor Roll.

Case, an infielder from Loveland, Colo., has posted a 3.92 GPA while majoring in Business Administration. As a fifth-year member of the Regis Softball team, Case has posted a .355 batting average so far this spring. The Rangers' all-time leader in runs scored and stolen bases also leads the conference in triples (9) and stolen bases with 35 bags swiped on 36 attempts heading into the final week of the regular season.
