Best Team Performance in Almost a Decade

LAS VEGAS, NM—The Regis University Women's Cross-Country team finished 13th place at the RMAC Championships in Las Vegas, New Mexico, Saturday Morning, their fifth meet of the season, with a team score of 417 points.
 
Adams State took first place with 30 team points, while Ava O'Connor was the individual champion with a time of 19:28.3.
 
Allie Braney was the top finisher for Regis, recording a time of 22:25.9 scoring 56 points.  Caitie Slattery recorded a time of 23:48.8, totaling 76 points and Madilyn Gifford was not far behind with her mark of 25:51.3. Melayna Barclay (26:52.3) was the final scorer for Regis, while Valeria Bustos was the next to cross the finish line at 28:00:0.
 
The Rangers next meet is the NCAA South Central Regionals, in Denver Colo, Nov 9th.
