DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University Men' Soccer team is set to host Fort Lewis College (Colo.) on Wednesday evening in the RMAC Tournament Semifinals at 6 pm.
Regis earned the No. 2 seed in the tournament following a season in which they did not lose a conference match, going 6-0-4. Fort Lewis, who was ranked #17 in the final United Soccer Coaches Top 25 poll, earned the No. 3 seed in the tournament. In the Quarterfinals, FLC was able to advance after besting MSU Denver. The teams tied, 2-2, and in penalty kicks, the Skyhawks won 6-5.
Regis and Fort Lewis met in Durango on Oct. 13, where the Rangers upset the #14 Skyhawks, 2-1. Ignacio Bellina scored an early goal, then with the match tied late, Cameron Bennetti came in with four minutes left and put in a header goal for the win.
