HOW IT HAPPENED

Within the first 30 seconds of the game, Chase Mayo Harmon threw down a dunk, scoring first for the Rangers. As the team traded early leads, Trey Bryant would grab a defensive board and go coast to coast with a layup, RU up 9-7. Cowboys would turnover the ball as RU capitalized, with Mayo Harmon from three, assisted by Jalen Brown. Rangers continued gaining momentum with a dunk from Archara, assisted Brown, and then Brown would find Archara again in the paint. Highlands tied it up 29-29 with six minutes to go until Mayo and Bryant each scored from beyond the arc. Rangers continued their run, closing the half 53-40.

Eddy Egun would continue the Ranger's momentum into the 2nd half with two jumpers from the paint. Kobe Sanders would then find Eddy Egun from across the court for a fast break dunk, RU leading, 67-51. Highlands started to chip away at the lead with two back-to-back layups and a three, 66-73. Regis stayed on top after an offensive rebound and put back from Ty Cox and a layup by Brown, 86-75. RU continued steady, securing the win, 96-85.
