Colorado Springs, Colo. — With the 2024 season all wrapped up, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced its All-Academic First Team on Wednesday, with junior right-hander Kylie Harpman earning a spot.
Harpman, a Nursing major with a 3.97 GPA, helped lead the Rangers to both their first tournament championship and NCAA tournament appearance since 2015.
In the circle, the Fort Collins-native finished with a 3.44 ERA and led the conference in strikeouts with 151.
To be eligible for First Team consideration, a student-athlete must carry a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters. First Team All-Academic members were voted on by the conference's sports information directors for meeting those criteria, as well as demonstrating outstanding performance on the field. Student-athletes not voted to the First Team, and who carry a 3.30 cumulative GPA or higher, automatically qualify for Honor Roll.
Alongside Harpman were 14 other Rangers named to the Honor Roll.
