DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University Women's Soccer team suffered a 0-1 loss at the hands of Fort Lewis College on Sunday afternoon. The Rangers fall to 9-3-4 (5-2-3 RMAC), while the Skyhawks improve to 8-4-2 (5-2-1 RMAC). 
HOW IT HAPPENED
FLC started the match with a shot, off-target, followed by three from Regis, including on goal shots by Andie Rylance and Elsa Nolen. Helen Stegner saved the first shot on goal by Fort Lewis at 28:22, and from there, both defenses stepped up, with just two more shots attempted in the half, both by Regis, and one by Morgan Black on target. 
Both offenses came out of the second much more aggressive, as both squads put a shot on goal within five minutes. The teams traded four more shots before Natalie Bunch had a break, that was barely saved by the Skyhawk keeper. At 65:14, Anna Tucker centered the ball to Abigail Nkrumah to get FLC on the board. Fernanda Rodriguez put two more late shots on goal, but they were both saved, and the Skyhawks managed to secure the win.
