DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University Volleyball team is proud to announce its 2025 signing class, as seven talented student-athletes join the Rangers
"We are delighted to welcome seven distinguished recruits to our Regis Volleyball family," said Head Coach Joel List. "We will sincerely miss many of the players who contributed significantly to the excellence of our program. Our 2025 recruiting class is characterized by outstanding talent both academically and athletically. All are exemplary students and will enhance our team with their depth and diverse personalities. We are pleased to include local Colorado talent, as well as players from both ends of the country. We eagerly anticipate their contributions to our future achievements."
Sabrina Landman, OH, Grand Junction, Colo., Palisade HS
"Sabrina is an exceptionally talented athlete who has played multiple positions in the front row. She caught our attention several years ago, and each time we've evaluated her, she's continued to improve in remarkable ways. Her dedication, work ethic, and self-motivation are truly impressive. Additionally, she has excellent size, excels academically, and embodies the positive personality qualities we value in our program. We're excited to see what she will bring to our team. Sabrina is a true legacy of Regis — her mother was a volleyball player for the Rangers, and her grandfather served as an assistant coach for the men's basketball team. We are thrilled to welcome her and her family back to Regis, and we look forward to watching her thrive and inspire others."
Landman was named CCGS All-State, and CHSAA Second-Team All-State as a senior, and CHSAA All-State Honorable Mention as a junior. The two-time, First Team All-Conference performer set a school record in aces her junior year, while leading the state 4A division.
Lauryn Uyemura, DS, Kersey, Colo., Platte Valley HS
"When Lauryn committed to our program, we were genuinely thrilled to welcome her aboard. Her incredible talent as an athlete promises to bring immediate contributions on the court, and her diverse experience as a setter, along with her skills as a defensive specialist and libero, make her a versatile asset. Lauryn's dedication as a multi-sport athlete, coupled with her coachability and eagerness to learn, excites us about her rapid growth and positive impact. Additionally, coming from a wonderful family—her older sister being a former player for us—we already feel a strong connection. Having known her through our gym and camps for years, Lauryn's seamless integration into our culture is just the beginning. We can't wait to see her flourish and all she will accomplish with us."
Uyemura captured a Colorado 3A State Championship as a sophomore, and was State Runner Up as a senior. She totaled 3,580 career assists and 943 digs. The multi-sport athlete also lettered in basketball and track, winning a basketball state title in her freshman year.
Kendal Allaire, MB, Casper, Wyo., Kelly Walsh HS
"Kendal is going to be an incredible addition to our team! We are truly inspired by her genuine enthusiasm for joining us and her strong dedication to building meaningful relationships. Her background from a competitive and athletic family with a winning mindset is truly impressive. She recently secured the state championship and comes from a highly skilled, well-coached high school team. Kendal is a versatile athlete and has experience playing many positions. Additionally, her involvement in multiple sports is a remarkable quality that sets her apart. Not only is she an outstanding student, but she also demonstrates exceptional leadership qualities. It's evident that she is eager and excited to become an active part of our community here at Regis. We are overjoyed to welcome Kendal and her family into our community and cannot wait to see all the amazing things she will accomplish with us."
Allaire made two Wyoming State Tournaments in her career, claiming conference and regional crowns in her senior and sophomore seasons. She was twice named All-Conference and earned an All-State nod as a junior.

Jacie Kaniho, OH, Kailua, Hawaii, Kamehameha Schools Kapalama
"I'm thrilled to welcome Jacie to the team! Coming from a highly competitive high school program in Hawai'i, she brings a strong background and dedication to the game. We've had other talented players from the same school join Regis, and Jacie's family is deeply rooted in volleyball, which speaks to her strong foundation. We're excited to see her develop and can't wait to watch her make a positive impact on the team soon. With her size and versatility, especially in handling backrow, she has great potential to contribute significantly. The future looks bright with Jacie on board!"
Janci Ige, DS, Kaneohe, Hawaii, Mid-Pacific Institute, Pacific University (Ore.), Marian University (Wis.)
"Janci was a wonderful recruit to get to know. She asked insightful questions and had clear, precise needs as a transfer coming to Regis. I'm thrilled we were able to meet all those needs and make her feel completely comfortable with her transfer. She is poised to become a mature defensive specialist who will truly help strengthen our team. Her presence will boost our first touches and make us more competitive. We're excited to see her grow and contribute!"
At Marian University in 2024, Ige totaled 279 digs over 103 sets played, dished 18 assists, and aced 15 serves.

Alayna Pruitt, OH, Fayetteville, N.C., South View HS, Winston-Salem State (N.C.)
"I'm truly excited to work with Alayna! Her blocking skills immediately caught my attention, and her versatility in the front row is impressive. She approaches her game and life with great care and precision, which promises a lot for our team. I can't wait to see how much she will contribute to both our offense and defense. I believe she has the potential to make a real difference and inspire everyone around her."
Pruitt comes to Regis after two seasons at Winston-Salem State, where she played 54 sets over 20 matches, collecting 72 hills, 47 digs, and 11 total blocks.
Bailey Nichols, S, Castle Rock, Colo., Douglas County HS, Montana State University - Billings
"Bailey is a great piece to our team this fall! She brings valuable experience in both setting and hitting, making her a tremendous asset. I'm excited to see her grow as a setter and take on new challenges. She has the playing background and determination to succeed, and I believe she will thrive as she takes more control of our offense. Being from the Denver area, it's wonderful to have her family nearby to support her. I'm confident she'll make a positive impact and develop beautifully as part of our team."
Nichols played two season at Montana State University – Billings, where she primarily played as a hitter. She totaled 309 kills over 173 sets, added 114 digs, 59 blocks, and aced 13 serves. She earned Academic All-GNAC in 2024.
The Rangers kick off their 2025 season on Thursday, September 4 against Vanguard University (Calif.) at the APU/CUI Tournament.
