Dixon Named to Preseason All-RMAC Team, Rangers Picked Sixth in Coaches Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference has released its 2025 Women's Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll and Preseason All-Conference team. Regis comes in ranked sixth, with Braiziah Dixon earning a spot on the team.

The Rangers, who collected 117 points in the poll, finished the 2024 season as the No. 4 seed in the league standings with a 9-5 conference record (14-14 overall), before falling to Metropolitan State University-Denver in the RMAC Tournament Semifinals.

Dixon was named to the Preseason All-RMAC Team after being a First-Team All-RMAC Selection in 2024. Her 1.38 blocks per set (21 solo, 117 assists) ranked second in the RMAC, while her .360 attacking percentage ranked third. She totaled 212 kills (10th) in 100 sets played.

MSU Denver is the preseason favorite, receiving 194 out of 196 possible points. The Roadrunners have won four consecutive regular-season titles, and two of the last three RMAC Tournament crowns.

Colorado Mesa University secured the second spot in the RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, grabbing 183 points along with the two remaining first-place votes. Colorado Christian University, the 2024 RMAC Tournament runners-up, holds the No. 3 rank with 162 points. South Dakota Mines lands at No. 4 with 154 total points, while Colorado State University Pueblo closes out the top five with 133 points.

Westminster University followed the Rangers in seventh with 105 points. Close behind, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs claims eighth place with 104 points. Adams State University and Colorado School of Mines are tied for ninth, each earning 95 points.

Fort Lewis College (59), Western Colorado University (57), Chadron State College (55), New Mexico Highlands University (37), and Black Hills State University (25) round out the 2025 RMAC Volleyball Preseason Coaches' Poll, earning 11th-15th place, respectively.

The league's head coaches rank the teams, with 14 points for a 1st place vote, 13 for a 2nd, etc. Coaches were not permitted to vote for their own team.

The RMAC's 15 volleyball teams are looking to finish 2025 at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the host of the 2025 NCAA Division II Volleyball Championships. The championship sees the national semifinals played on Thursday, Dec. 11, followed by the national championship on Saturday, Dec. 13. Ticket information for the national championship will be available at NCAA.com at a later date.
