DENVER, Colo. - Caitie Turnbow and Kate Gallery have earned their first College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, the organization announced Tuesday.

The Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student athletes for their combined performance on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program recognizes honorees in four divisions: NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot.

Established in 1952 and selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC), Academic All-America is the longest-running and premier award for athletic and academic success in championship college sports at all NCAA levels, the NAIA, two-year colleges, and Canadian institutions. The all-time list of 42,000+ Academic All-Americans includes major sports stars and some of the world's most accomplished individuals in medicine, business, science, and the arts.
