DENVER, Colo. – The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) has released its 2026 All-South Central Regional teams, and Ethan Wood represents the Rangers on the Second-Team.

This is Wood's first career All-Region selection, and the first Ranger first baseman since Tony Piazza (2014) to earn the honor.

Wood (So., Austin, Texas) led the Rangers with 79 hits on .427 batting average. He totaled 11 doubles to go with 15 homers, posting a .730 slugging percentage. Wood scored 65 times and batted in 65 more, while being walked 31 times, all top-10 marks in the RMAC. He made 49 appearances and 48 starts at first base, totaling 360 putouts and 27 assists on .985 fielding percentage. Wood was also named First-Team All-RMAC.
