DURANGO, Colo. – The Regis University Softball team concluded their 2026 campaign on Saturday afternoon, falling to Fort Lewis College, 9-12 and 8-9. The Rangers finish 15-35 (14-30 RMAC), while the Skyhawks move to 15-39 (14-30 RMAC).
GAME ONE
Olivia Wick began her record-setting 213th start with the Rangers with a lead-off single, but the first run of the game would be scored in the second, as Kristin Ingram led off with a double, advanced on Kiauna Smith's single, and scored on an error.
Wick recorded her second lead-off single in the third, and was batted in by a Jane Quinn double. Ingram then scored her with a single to center. FLC would respond in the bottom with a huge inning, recording eight hits, including two doubles, and scoring 11 runs. The Rangers had a strong answer in the fourth, starting with a single from Enyssa Dominguez, followed by three straight scoring singles from Adisyn Rademacher, Quinn, and Isabella Porter. Smith added another, while Ingram scored on an error, bringing the score to 9-11.
Neither team would score in the fifth, while in the sixth, Fort Lewis added an insurance run with a solo home run. Eleanor Sikora singled in the top of the seventh, and Wick was walked, but the rally fell short there.
GAME NOTES
· Ingram went 4-4 with an RBI
· Smith and Porter both had two hits and two RBI
· Wick, Smith, and Sikora all added two hits apiece
· Eight different Skyhawks had an RBI
GAME TWO
The second game would start with a Quinn walk and a Porter single, but both were left on base, as Fort Lewis was able to score a run on an RBI double in the bottom of the first. Bella Bordine led off the second with a single, followed by a single by Zoey Langerak. Natasha Ellison was walked to load the bases, and Wick's single batted two in. Quinn batted in Ellison for the 3-1 lead.
The Skyhawks, however, would have a response again, scoring seven runs in the bottom of the frame on five hits and a Regis misplay. Smith recorded a double in the third, but neither team recorded a run. FLC added to their lead in the fourth with a sacrifice fly.
The Rangers had a strong fifth inning, starting with an Ingram walk and Bordine single. Vanessa Candito pinch hit, and batted in two runs, while Wick's triple scored two more. In the sixth, Smith singled, and FLC got two on, but no one reached home. In the final inning, doubles from Wick and Quinn brought the game within one, but it would end there, 9-8.

· Mia Cueva hit 2-3 with two RBI for FLC
· Caitlyn Potts (L, 1-4) recorded the loss. Hailie Mann (W, 7-12) picked up a complete game win
