DENVER, Colo. – The Regis University Volleyball team has officially announced its 2026 recruiting class, bringing in five new freshmen and five transfers.
Cady Knight, Fr., L/DS, Monument, Colo., Lewis-Palmer HS – Knight excelled both on the court and in the classroom at Lewis-Palmer, being named Academic All-State four times. As a senior, she was also named Second-Team All-State, the Conference Libero of the Year, and received an invite to the senior All-Star game. In her final season, she set a school record with 43 digs in a single match.
Madelyn Lynett, Fr., S, Littleton, Colo., Columbine HS – A team captain since her sophomore year, Lynett led her team as a two-time MVP, two-time First-Team All-Conference honoree, and a 5A All-State Honorable Mention as a senior. She earned four varsity letters in volleyball, and two more in tennis.
Annelise Miller Fr., OH, Falcon, Colo., Falcon HS – Miller was a four-year letterwinner, for Falcon HS. As a senior, she averaged over a kill per set, and helped the squad make a playoff run. She played club for Hot Shots Volleyball.
Morgan Munro, Grad., M, Firestone, Colo., Mead HS, Marist University (NY), Grambling State (La.) – Munro comes to Regis by way of Marist (2022-23) and Grambling State (2024-25). With the Red Foxes, she played in 25 matches, hit .400 as a sophomore, and was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team. At Grambling, she appeared in 29 matches, recorded 71 kills, and put down 27 blocks. In her prep career, Munro was an All-State Honorable Mention and Academic All-State Honoree.
Callie Parker, Jr., OPP, Concordia, Kan., Concordia HS, Cowley College (Kan.) – After spending two seasons at Cowley College, Parker comes to the Rangers for her junior season. She played in 11 matches, posting a .304 hitting percentage. In high school, Parker led her team to the NCK League Championship, being named First-Team All-League and selected for the Cloud Thunderbirld All-Star Match as a senior.
Kailyn Polzin, Jr., OH, Alamosa, Colo., Centauri HS, MSU-Denver – Polzin is no stranger to the RMAC, coming to Regis from cross-town rival MSU-Denver. She played in nine matches last season for the DII Champion Roadrunners, and was named to the RMAC Academic Honor Roll. At Centaur HS, she was a Class 3A all-state first-team selection, Intermountain League Volleyball Player of the Year, and All-Intermountain League first-team. Polzin also played basketball and competed in track & field, was an All-Conference selection in basketball and State track meet qualifier as a freshman.
Lynn Sanders, Fr., MB, Dallas, Texas, Lakeview Centennial HS – Sanders was a team leader since her sophomore season, being named her team MVP three times. She was once a Second-Team All-District performer, and twice an Honorable Mention. She was a four-sport athlete, also lettering in basketball, track, and power lifting.
Nicole Shaver, Sr., S, Cheyenne, Wyo., Bradshaw Mountain HS, Quincy University (Ill.), Laramie County CC (Wyo.), New Mexico Highlands – Another RMAC transfer, Shaver also made collegiate stops at Quincy University, earning GLVC Academic All-Conference, and Laramie County, appearing in 16 matches, and picking up 86 assists. At NHMU, she recorded 2.53 assists per set in 18 matches, and made an RMAC Academic Honor Roll appearance. In high school, Shaver was a two-time All-Region performer, Second-Team All-Conference, and helped the Bears to a 4A Region Championship.
Eduarda "Duda" Silva, Jr., DS/L, Aracaju, Brazil, Colegio Modulo, Midland College (Texas) – The final transfer for Regis, Silva played in 40 matches for Midland over two seasons, totaling 163 digs and 317 receptions. Before her collegiate career, she was a three-time participant in the Brazilian National Championship, competed in the Brazilian National Club Championships, and was awarded the Best Libero at the national level competition.
Ciara Williams, Fr., M, Frisco, Texas, Rick Reedy HS – Williams helped lead her high school squad to a pair of district runners-up, and a district Championship as a senior. She was an all-region Honorable Mention, and totaled over 200 kills and 75 blocks as a senior.
"This might be the most exciting class in Regis Volleyball history, and certainly the biggest in my 21 years here," said Head Coach Joel List. "Last year's circumstances presented us with a few challenges during a crucial recruiting period, leading some players to transfer. With a roster of 11 last fall, losing a setter and three seniors graduating, we faced a big task in building a team for the fall of 2026. However, I'm truly optimistic about what this talented group brings to the university and to the court every day. Some players will carry some important responsibility, while others bring raw talent and fierce determination that will push our returners, who worked tirelessly over the spring and summer. All of our new players bring unique qualities that strengthen our team, especially considering last year's hurdles. Maddie and Nicole form an excellent setting duo, combining Nicole's experience with Maddie's youth and open mind to become great; they will energize our offense. Transfer players Morgan, Kailyn, and Callie add valuable offensive experience, maturity, and leadership from their college careers, while Duda does the same on defense. Cady provides essential competition, depth, and work ethic in a defensive specialist role. Annelise's athleticism, size, and competitive spirit will serve us well at the pin position. Rounding out our freshmen, Ciara and Lynn are set to boost our depth in the middle, a position steeped in tradition at Regis. I am genuinely excited to guide this exceptional group of young athletes as they grow and develop, and I can't wait to see how they elevate our program this year."
The Rangers begin their season at the Fort Hays Tiger Classic on August 28, and play their first home game on September 2 against Fort Hays State (Kan.).
