Appeared in 21 games, posting a 1-1 overall record and three saves. Tossed a career-high 22.1 innings, striking out 29 batters and limiting opponents to a .241 batting average.

2022 | Sophomore
Deskin was one of the most effective relivers for the Rangers in 2022, making a total of 21 appearances. He finished with a 4.98 earned run average while leading all Regis pitchers with a 12.7 strikeout per nine innings. He held opponents to a .229 batting average and led the Rangers with three saves on the season.

Appeared in 19 games, all in relief, during the condensed 2021 season in which he accumulated a 5.29 earned-run average and a 1-0 record … Fanned 19 batters while allowing 14 runs (10 earned), 15 hits, and 14 walks over the length of 17.0 innings … Struck out the side during 1.0 scoreless inning in both the Rangers’ 15-2, series-closing win over Washburn on Feb. 21 and in their 12-4 victory to close a doubleheader against Colorado Christian on March 10 ... Earned his win upon giving up just a run and a hit in 1.0 inning of work during Regis’s 13-7, come-from-behind triumph at No. 21 Metropolitan State University of Denver to open a doubleheader on May 1 … Tabulated three strikeouts in 2.0 innings in which he surrendered just one unearned run and three hits during RU’s 10-5, series-opening win at CSU Pueblo on March 5 … Additionally turned in a 1.000 fielding percentage, consisting of two putouts and one assist.
