Anderson enters his first season as a volunteer student assistant for the Regis University baseball program, focusing on hitting and serving as the academic liaison. He is currently a second-year student in the doctorate of physical therapy program at Regis.Â
Prior to joining the Rangers, Anderson spent five years (2013-18) at Oregon State University as a member of the baseball program as an outfielder. During his time at OSU, the Beavers won a PAC-12 Championship in 2017, went to the College World Series in 2017 and 2018, and won the College World Series in 2018.Â
Athletically, Anderson was honored as a PAC-12 First Team outfielder in 2017.Â
Academically, Anderson was a three-time selection to the PAC-12 All-Academic Team, and was chosen as the PAC-12 Academic Player of the Year in 2018. Anderson was also selected for the PAC-12 Leadership Award for his contributions on the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
