Jake Roehn begins his second season in 2021 as one of the assistant baseball coaches for the Regis University baseball program, serving primarily with the pitchers.
He assisted the Rangers team that reached an overall record of 8-10 during the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season.
Prior to coming to Regis, Roehn spent six years at Ohio University (Mid-American Conference) in Athens, Ohio, where he pitched for the Bobcats for five years and served as graduate assistant for one season. He was a closer at OU, where he earned the career and season saves records, helping lead the Bobcats to a conference title and a regional berth in 2017.
Roehn was also honored with an All-Conference First Team selection in 2017, and was a semi-finalist for the Stopper of the Year Award. In 2018, he was a Preseason All-American.
Following his time with the Bobcats, Roehn played professionally for one summer with the Windy City Thunderbolts in the Frontier League, based out of Chicago, Ill.
