Hank Lewis

Hank Lewis is entering his 3rd year as an assistant coach with the Rangers and works primarily with the goalkeepers. He also assists with recruiting, session planning, and camp operations. Lewis has coached at college programs across all three NCAA divisions, and has been integral to the success of six conference champions, three conference tournament champions, and five trips to NCAA National Tournaments, including Sweet 16 and Elite 8 appearances. 
 
Prior to his time at Regis, Lewis served as the head coach at Metro State University in Denver and Stevens Institute of Technology. He also spent time as an assistant coach at Air Force, Colorado School of Mines, Missouri S&T, and Colgate. He’s been a part of numerous Regional Coaching Staffs of the Year and in nearly every year he has coached, Lewis has developed goalkeepers into All-Americans; All-Region and All-Conference performers, and Players of the Year. 
 
Internationally, he was Director of Goalkeeping Operations and on the technical staff for the Bahamas Men's National team, coaching in Olympic and World Cup qualifiers.  
 
Lewis played collegiately at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut before playing professionally for Bahamian club Bears AFC. While with the Bears, Lewis led the team to its first league and cup championships in 14 years.  After hanging up the gloves, he moved on to become a First Team coach, helping the club to another league championship.
 
He holds a United Soccer Coaches National Diploma and a B Coaching License from the Bahamas Football Association. 
 
He is the founder and is lead trainer for EliteCompete, which trains athletes from 6 years old on up to collegiate and professional players.
 
A fourth-generation Coloradan, he lives in Golden.
