Tom Poole is in his second season as a volunteer assistant coach for the men’s soccer program.

Poole played four successful seasons at Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina. At WU he led the team to a South Atlantic Conference (SAC) title and conference champion status, while also helping the Bulldogs to two NCAA tournament appearances.  He was a four-year starter on the pitch and was named two-time All-SAC while leading the team to their highest national ranking (7^th) in October of 2011.

He is certified FA Level 1 and 2 in coaching soccer, as a Health and Fitness teacher and in American Heart Association CPR, while he also has his UEFA ‘B’ coaching license.

Originally from Birmingham, England, Poole came to the states when he was 18 to play at Wingate.  He graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education and now resides in Denver, Colo.
