Biography

2015:

  • Made two starts and appeared in seven games
  • Tallied one assist in the 3-0 victory over Adams State University on September 20
  • Took three shots and put one on target

2014:

  • Made four starts and eight appearances
  • Saw action in the final eight games of the season

2013:

  • Took a redshirt in 2013

2012:

  • Came off the bench and appeared in 10 matches
  • Notched one goal on the season
  • Attempted four shots, two of which were on goal
  • Scored his first collegiate goal in his first game, a Rangers 7-0 win over Mary on August 31st

Verona Area High School:

  • Hanson graduated from VAHS in 2012
  • Lettered in soccer four years and in basketball for two years
  • Was named Offensive MVP and Most Improved Player 
  • Hanson was also named to the Big 8 All-Conference Team
  • Led team to ODP 2011 State Championship status as well as to the Player/Regional Pool qualifyer
  • He was named to the 2012 Masonic All-Star Team as well as playing for the 2012 Madison 56ers Men's NPSL Club Team
  • While at VAHS, Hanson was a freshman mentor for two years, a member of the 2011-12 Student Council and a Rotary Ethics Scholar, while also participating in Science Club
