Box Score DENVER, Colo. – On senior recognition night, the Regis University volleyball made quick work of the Black Hills State Yellow Jackets (6-17, 4-11 RMAC) cruising to a 3-0 sweep.

The Rangers dominated the majority of the stat columns, holding the Yellow Jackets to just 29 kills while putting down 45 of their own. RU also kept 57 plays alive to Black Hills State's 42. Regis was led by
Katie Klein who produced an exceptionally efficient night with 14 kills on 28 attacks for a .429 hitting percentage.

BHSU hung around early in the first set responding to each point from the Rangers but three-straight points for RU slowly began extending the lead. Regis held a 23-14 lead when the Yellow Jackets gained some momentum. Their comeback fell short as RU was able to secure the 25-18 first set win.

At the start of the second set, Black Hills State saw their first lead of the match at 4-2. Regis worked their way out of that small deficit to take a 15-12 lead and force a BHSU timeout. The Yellow Jackets did not let down tying the score at 17-17 but RU went off to quickly go ahead 2-0 in the match with the 25-19 second set win.

The Yellow Jackets jumped out on Regis in the beginning of the third set with hopes of extending the night. Black Hills State sat in control of a 5-2 early lead but were unable to hold off the Rangers for much longer. RU tied the score at 7-7, ultimately taking control of an 11-9 lead and never relinquishing again. A 5-0 run put Regis ahead 16-10 as BHSU was never able to recover from the surge as they dropped the third set 25-17.

Diamond Ridley-Pierce and
Yagoda Jedrzejczak each put down seven kills apiece and combined for four blocks. Jac Williamson produced her sixth double-double of the season dishing out 19 assists and tallying 13 digs.

The Rangers host South Dakota Mines Saturday, November 5 at 5 p.m. This is RU's final regular season home match of the season.
