Box Score DURANGO, Colo. – The No. 19 Regis University women's basketball team overcome a tough Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) on the road defeating the Fort Lewis Skyhawks 79-74. The Rangers solidified their fourth-straight win improving to an overall record of 14-2 and 9-2 in the RMAC.

Four Rangers netted double-digit scoring production led by
Majestie Robinson with 18. Robinson went 4-of-7 from the field, 3-of-5 from distance and 7-of-10 from the line while adding three assists and four steals.
Mary Sigler chipped in with 16 points of her own going 6-of-8 from the charity stripe.
Kaylie Rader and
Karlyn Johnson went for 13 and 12 points, respectively.

How It Happened: Both teams exchanged baskets throughout the opening minutes of the game until the Rangers dropped back-to-back threes from Sigler and
Chante Church to move ahead 11-6. Sigler knocked down one more field-goal to make it 13-6 before the Skyhawks clawed back to a 16-16 score with 2:22 minutes remaining in the first quarter.

With just over half of the second quarter to play, Fort Lewis took their first lead of the game with a three-pointer, 28-27.
Jaz'Myne Snipes brought the Rangers within one, 32-31, at halftime.

At the first media timeout of the third quarter Regis trailed 45-39 but mounted a comeback. RU scored four-straight points to decrease the deficit to one to eventually tie the score at 49-49 on a Robinson three. Sigler drained another from distance to regain control of the lead since halftime at 52-51 with less than 30 seconds before the final quarter of play.

The fourth quarter was a battle on each side of the court. The lead would take a slight swing in favor of both teams throughout the fourth quarter. Robinson hit a pair of free throws followed by a field-goal to lead 69-65 with 3:30 to play.

The Rangers held a 74-69 lead over the Skyhawks until Alyssa Yocky hit a three to bring the home team within two, 74-72. Regis closed out the road victory knocking down five-straight free throws.

Game Notes: The Rangers shot 42.4 percent (25-59) from the field, 37.5 percent (6-16) from beyond the arc and 76.7 percent (23-30) from the line. RU forced 17 Fort Lewis turnovers to score 26 points. Of the 17 FLC turnovers, the Rangers tallied 12 steals. Regis changed the lead five different times and tied it up five times. The Rangers dominated on the boards 40-26 while holding them to seven offensive boards but chasing down 16 of their own.
