DENVER, Colo. – Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics
David Spafford is excited to announce a partnership with adidas. This deal is the first of its kind in Regis athletics history and will run through 2022.
"We are very pleased to have the opportunity to partner with adidas as our apparel and footwear outfitter," Spafford expressed. "Our goals in this process were to identify the right type of partnership at this time, enhance our overall student-athlete experience, increase our stature on a national level while enhancing our budget situation. Adidas has met all of these goals and more."
Adidas will serve as the exclusive apparel and footwear dealer for all 12 of the Ranger athletics varsity sports. In addition, the athletic department is partnering with Total Image Sports, an official three-stripe dealer, for all Regis athletics branding needs. Total Image Sports is a local apparel vendor that specializes in in-house embellishment for embroidery, tackle twill and screen printing options.
"We are thrilled to partner with the Regis Rangers. Since arriving to campus, the University and its Athletics Department have shown tremendous commitment to their athletes and coaches alike. We believe we have the power to change sports, allowing every program the opportunity to thrive in our world-class uniforms, footwear and accessories. This is a great day for the adidas brand and the Regis Rangers community." said Megan Curry, Adidas Team Services.
The Rangers compete in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) and fields teams in baseball, basketball, softball, cross country, golf, soccer, lacrosse and volleyball. Regis University, which is celebrating its 140
thanniversary this year, is Colorado's Jesuit, Catholic university offering degrees in 131 disciplines online and on four campuses on the Front Range.
