INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Regis University Rangers have claimed the overall number one seed in the South Central Region on the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II Volleyball Tournament. The tournament is set to run December 5-7 and will take place at the Regis Field House.
As announced by the NCAA on Monday evening, the Regis University volleyball team (25-4) has earned the right to host the South Central Regional Tournament. Regis hosted the South Central Region of the bracket back in 2017 when they won the 2017 South Central Regional Championship, beating West Texas A&M University in four sets.
This year, the top-seeded Rangers will face a familiar face in cross-town rival and the eighth-seeded Metropolitan State University of Denver Roadrunners in the opening round of the tournament.
