DENVER, Colo. – The No. 8 ranked Regis University women's lacrosse team (6-0) punished the No. 22 ranked Tiffin University Dragons (4-3) 18-6 on Saturday morning.
How It Happened:Regis got things started with four-straight goals, and they never looked back. The team put together one of the best full-game performances of the season with brilliant offense and defense throughout the contest.
The Rangers went on to rack up 12 total goals before they allowed the Dragons to score their second goal of the game. With a 10-goal lead, running clock was in effect, but that did not affect RU's aggressiveness in the slightest. Regis extended their lead to 15 goals after freshman
Jordan Winchester netted her first goal of the season, followed by back-to-back goals from sophomore
Kyleigh Peoples to give the Rangers 18 goals on the day.
RU did not score in the final 4:54 of the game, and Tiffin put together a late charge as they scored three unanswered goals to end the game. Final score tilted in favor of Regis, 18-6, giving the Rangers' their largest win of the season, and it came against the nation's No. 22 ranked team.

Sarah Myres led the team with nine points in the game, scoring five goals and earning four assists in the effort. Fellow senior

Draw controls also favored the Dragons 16-9 but credit the Rangers' defense for causing turnovers and forcing the home side into difficult shots.
