PUEBLO, Colo. – The Regis University baseball team (6-15, 1-7 RMAC) relinquished nine unanswered runs against Colorado State University-Pueblo (10-10, 5-3 RMAC), ultimately falling 3-10 in Sunday's series finale.
How It Happened: After surrendering a first inning run, the Rangers tied the game with one run on three hits in the top of the second. They managed to load the bases with just one out but came away with one run. The abandoned baserunners continued to haunt RU all afternoon.
Regis recorded eight hits but left 11 runners stranded in the last seven innings of play. Altogether, the Rangers left 12 runners on base, eight of which were in scoring position.
The score remained 1-1 until the ThunderWolves scored multiple runs three innings in a row. Their scoring started with five runs on four hits in the bottom half of the fourth inning. They added two more in the fifth and sixth inning.
RU was held scoreless in six-straight innings before scoring two in the top of the ninth.

Coby Zimmerman (2-5) also recorded multiple hits from the two and three holes, respectively. Senior
Mickey Meinhofer (2-4) was the fourth RU batter with more than one hit.
Junior
Cobe Karhoff falls to 1-4 on the season after allowing five runs on seven hits in 3.2 innings of work. Regis had seven different pitchers in the nine-inning game.
